Insgesamt wurden 10 824 Weine von 1 412 Produzenten aus 41 Ländern verkostet.

The SALON Austria celebrates the best wines in the country. Only the best 275 wines from Austria receive the award! This year, 3 wines from our winery are included.

At the Lower Austrian State Wine Awards we won the title of Winery of the Year 2024!

Our national winning wines are:

For over 35 years, the Lower Austrian state wine awards have been the benchmark for assessing the respective wine vintage. Year after year, the best wines from Lower Austria are selected from thousands of entries in various categories.

This year, over 6,000 wines were submitted by around 920 companies from all over Lower Austria.

Our family has been passionate about making wine for generations. Respecting our roots and being open to new things - this balance can be achieved by combining old and new. Experiences provide inspiration and ideas to try new things.

The wine week is a special highlight in Retz's cultural life. In the uniquely beautiful ambience of the Sparkassengarten, the winemakers offer 700 of the finest wines from the Western Weinviertel for tasting. All wines are tested by experts and the best are awarded as variety winners.

At this year's tasting, 2 wines were chosen as the best in their respective categories as varietal winners.

Ice wine Grüner Veltiner 2021 was a finalist among the best. Welschriesling was among the best.

In the overall evaluation, our wines were once again ranked among the top ten!

A large number of wineries will open their doors as part of the Weinviertel wine tour on April 6 and 7, 2024 and present the new vintage.

We are also open at the winery.

For a whole weekend it’s all about arriving, switching off and enjoying!
